Limits and boundaries

Proof Lab uses public demo keys and browser-local bytes. It demonstrates create and verify for DoT-0/1/4 → S4 — it is not a production signing service and not a third-party mint API.

No self-serve operator mint

The public site does not expose operator mint, anchor, batch submission, or key rotation endpoints. Production issuance requires operator contact through /contact.

Public verifier is read-only

POST /v1/verify accepts bounded receipts with explicit trust inputs. It does not mint, anchor, disclose private payloads, or escalate into permissioned disclosure surfaces.

Staged network services

Live chain settlement, Evidence Graph APIs, validator networks, DoT-5 public recognition, and certification programs remain staged until launch gates close. See /developers/staged for the current map.

Fail-closed profile semantics

DoT-PRIV profiles fail closed on the public verifier. Unknown or undeclared profiles fail closed. Do not assume silent downgrade when profile material is missing.

Out of scope on the public site

Private operator products, internal build systems, TCK certification suite details, and permissioned disclosure APIs are out of scope for this developer hub. Protocol and schemas remain authoritative for receipt bytes.
